All inclusive, 4.5hrs max flight, good for 10/11 year olds?
Discussion
This must have been done to death, but I'll try anyway....
We are trying to book a week in the sun, but having two boys aged 10 & 11 means we are leaning towards an all inclusive to remove some hassle from the holiday.
Are there 'ok' places to go on a budget (£750pp)? Any places to avoid, or any recommendations? If there are other options substantially cheaper then great.
Not fussed on the destination, as we (the boys) aren't quite ready for a cultural holiday, they want water slides, ice cream and more water slides.

If you are ok with hot weather Turkey would be ideal.
Hot weather to an extent, not sure I would fancy topping 40 degrees though, but anywhere between 30-40 would be nice.My wife sent me links for 'on the beach' but they looked awful, one place they even described as Blackpool but abroad, along with their god awful adverts, I don't think i'm their target holiday maker.
Turkey will be your best value for money I'd say for what you are after, but with it being August your budget might be a bit limited for some of the 'five star' ones.
We did this one in September last year for the same budget.. Booked through On The Beach funnily enough! Think its pretty typical of most of the hotels along that stretch of beach, enormous, loads of restaurants, water parks, kids activities, gym, cinema etc.

As above Antalya and you can also take a trip to Land of Legends for a day or two

Commenting to follow as I was looking for similar ideas!
One I had considered was a cruise?
All inclusive (ish for alcohol) - kids can cost next to nothing to add on a booking.
Pick the right boat & there’s loads for kids to do, pools/slides etc & skip the port excursions to save cash & stay onboard & use quieter facilities. Eat what you want when you want
At a cheaper level the rooms are nothing fancy though & having to spend time there watching kids sleep might not be great.

I'm finding flight times are always really poor when I am looking.
I've found a fantastic place, only flight times are:
Arrive at 2245 on the first day (that's at airport obviously, not even at the hotel yet!)
Come back about 2300 so you hang around all day without a room - even with a lake checkout that's a ballache

Have a look at the TUI Holiday Villages, but in the crrent climate, it will cost you around £3500-4000We are trying to book a week in the sun, but having two boys aged 10 & 11 means we are leaning towards an all inclusive to remove some hassle from the holiday.

All Inclusive Holidays at £3000 are possible, but don't expect a huge amount on site. Main sacrifice being water slides and similar. We spent ages trying to find a holiday for 2023 and we paid £2800 all in for Lanzarote for AL with flights from Lutopia (we live 20 minutes away), Many other AI holidays were about £3500 and upwards and most holiday villages were closer to £4k.

Are Russians still allowed into Turkey? Been a while since I’ve been but if they are then I think that might be enough to put me off!
