I have been just sent this link by someone:

https://www.bipandgo.com/en/individual-subscriptio...

It sounds too good to be true, does anyone have any experience of this payment method?

They must be getting more than that subscription fee, it wouldn’t be worth their time.

I wonder if the toll fees are higher to the end user or are they on a commission?

Everybody on the Le Mans forum and the French section !
Indispensable when driving RHD solo and you get to use the 30 kmph gates to avoid the queues

We have one, you just drive through the automatic toll booths and get billed at normal rates.

Yes, had one for years on the pay as you go tariff. Only get charged when you use it. Used it in France and Spain.

The tolls fees are the same paying on the spot as far as I’m aware. Saves a lot of time especially at busy times.

Allow a week or so for delivery to the UK.

I had one for thirteen years while we were living in France, and beforehand when we went to Le Mans each year.

Great gizmo! Sail past queues.... Only pay for what you use. What's not to like?

Have one from Ulys, which charges 2 eur / month, only for the months when you use it.

https://ulys.vinci-autoroutes.com/e-toll-badge-uly...

They set up a direct debit from your current account, using the IBAN.

Long term user here and its great

No need to hunt for change and no need to put up with your passenger shouting at you

Have had a couple of replacements for batteries which is about as much hassle as you need to put up with and the rates are good

Mostly used in France - on some Peage booths you have your own lane to skip the queues which in August can be very handy

Favourite moment was approaching a Peage station and being passed by Les Flics in x3 Peugeots with lights and sirens on clearly in a hurry only to arrive and glide straight through whilst they dutifully queued to go through the coin/card/attendant booth

Cheers

You realise you have to pay the tolls on top of the monthly fee? smile

I'm another log term user. Works well for Le Mans trips where you split the costs with a comrade as it logs the costs in almost real time.

Once the battery runs low you just order a new one and send the old one back.

Ulys here and it all works well. Just 2 Euro for each month you use the service.

You need to use it at least once every 14 months, else they will charge a 10 Euro fee (which I suppose, resets the clock for another 14 months).

Just checking smile

The tolls are hefty enough that that don't need to make any money out of the monthly fees. Plus it will save them all the card fees (and paper tickets) for the multiple transactions.
