So we're off to Canada later this year but the return trip is from Seattle (various different reasons)
My youngest son (14) wants to fire a gun so, I was wondering if its possible to visit a range/gun shop and have a properly supervised go with a proper instructor and facilities.
I appreciate its an odd question and guns aren't to everyone's taste but if I can find out well in advance then at least I can maybe book something or let him down gently if you know what I mean.
Not sure if this is the right place so feel free to move if necessary.
TIA wavey

Not sure about your son but contact wadeguns.com and ask. Bit of an odd city Seattle if honest.

The irony there is I do contract work for Airbus, so visiting an aeroplane factory is not too high up my list .......biglaugh
He is however interested in aircraft, so I'm sure there's a few museums to look at?

When I went round it, other than the sheer size of the place, I didn't find it *that* interesting.

I didn't try any shooting when I was there, but google comes back with this https://raincityshoots.com/

I liked Seattle, maybe less American than some places.

Wades is a good range, safe and professional, have been there a couple of times on my travels. The only thing is that it's a bit of a trek from downtown. Not sure where you are staying but it's nearer Bellevue, which has nice shops bars and restaurants but it's a bit sterile and not 'real' Seattle.

Also consider the other tourist trips - Space Needle, Music/Pop museum, Pike Place Market etc.
He's likely to enjoy to common whiff of marijuana every 5 mins....it's legal in Washington state.

Downtown Seattle has some good places, but some ropey areas too. As will all big cities, keep your wits about you.

I have shot at Wade's many years ago, and they were fine for me to shoot/rent pistols by myself (I showed my UK FAC so it ticked their ok to rent to someone solo if they own firearms policy). Some of the ranges are funny about foreigners, even when I was with local mates and not renting, they had issue with me - in Seattle they are a bit funny as someone else said.
