word on the streets used to be if you dont tell them they wont know , dont know if this is still the case

hard to believe a light flashes up that dave got caught speeding or stealing a mars bar in 1986

I do wonder how much they can actually find out, apart from if you are on some wanted list or sex register, I mean even different police forces across the UK can't find out if you've done certain things out of their area (so I've been told, I guess dependant on the severity) I hardly think the Americans have access to the national UK database.
