Looking for Greek recommendations

We are looking at going to one of the Greek islands in July,
The last time I went to Greece was Kavos 1990 with my mates, not quite the type of holiday that I am looking for now.

So we are after nice peaceful resort with nice bars & restaurants (Greek food), nice beaches
Would probably go bed and breakfast in a hotel.

Any recommendations welcome.

Depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking for an "adult" and authentic island I'd go for Syros. In fact I'm going again in June.

Head back to Corfu, but head north to Kassiopi.

We’ve been several times and love the place. Options to get an evening boat trip to Corfu Town, plus lots of eating options around the harbour.

The headland has a number of good beaches, ideal for snorkelling if that’s your thing?

Last time we stayed at the Frosini Gardens, good but not overtly luxurious, the Melina Bay in the town comes recommended too.
