Heathrow valet parking recommendations
Discussion
I'm flying from Heathrow T3 later in the year and want to use the valet parking (where you drop off at short stay car park and they take your car off site). This suits as I have 3 small children and am close to terminal. However, there seems a wide choice of companies that often have 5 star reviews through their website or comparison site but when I've looked at trust pilot reviews are a lot less favorable.
Any recommendations please from someone who has used one of these companies.

I wouldnt use valet parking again. We used it a while back from one of the highly rated companies. Upon returning to the car, I noticed it had a lot less fuel than when it was left. Inspecting the dashcam footage (that had been unplugged) showed our car moved every couple of days to industrial estates, housing estates, layby's etc. I posted a review on trust pilot that got taken down......
Also the price of Heathrow parking is ludicrous now. We're going away tomorrow for just over 2 weeks and were being quoted £400-500.
If the cost isnt an issue, I used Purple parking for work. Park up, leave the keys with them and they park it in their multistorey carpart for you. About 10 mins to the terminal from here

From the guys I know that have used it Purple Parking is by far the most responsible but is not exempt from multiple moves of your car, and 19 year old having a rag around on the 4 mile trip between locations.
I wasn't willing to give anywhere the keys to a V8. If you have a 10 year old diesel golf and you don't care, it might be worth the risk.
Especially as
I got back from 2 weeks in NZ a week or so ago, and it would have been £195 for basic parking where you need to get the 15 minute shuttle. Valet started at £310, with a 10% discount code my mate had and booking about 10 days out (seemed to be the sweet spot).
An MPV Cab was £35 each way.

This is massively true. The best, BY FAR, is the Heathrow own parking (I used to use it all the time) but you'll definitely pay for it now. Think what you're describing is meet and greet rather than valet. Valet will take your car from the terminal drop off area and meet and greet requires you to drop the car off on the 1st floor of the car park.
I've done valet at T5 and it's pretty good, though you do have to cross the road with all your bags (don't think that's as much of a problem at T3 as the drop off area is a bit better). Meet and greet at T3 requires you to get to and from the car park 1st floor; when I've done this, it's been a total st show because there's two lifts up to the bridge and hundreds of people all trying to get back to their car.
On my most recent trip through T3, I just parked in short stay and saved the money as there seemed to be no advantage since your car ends up in the same place. I guess if you're travelling at a quiet time then you might not have the same experience, but is Heathrow ever quiet?

You can book official Heathrow short term parking and, if the price drops, modify your booking and take advantage of the better price.
I did short term Heathrow T3 parking for a week for £160 this year at Feb half term. I also have three kids, maybe not so young, but we had five pairs of skis and didn't fancy dragging them on the long term parking bus.
