Franschhoek hotels

Any recommendations for hotels in Franschhoek?

Circa £180-250/night ideally.

The best one we’ve stayed in was Maison Cabriere. Normally books out quite far in advance just to warn you. It’s fairly centrally located, walking distance to everything, set back from the main drag so nice and peaceful. Beautiful rooms and a nice pool.

We're currently booked in there, however the wife has asked if we can stay somewhere more hotel like (more service/ restaurant on site etc).

I can only really find a couple round there but there are double the budget..

Ouch. I think we booked into the Protea last time and then went the other way and switched to a small B&B.

There are so many restaurants and cafes in town I would be inclined to steer her away from that plan if I were you.

Have negotiated staying in MC, but upgraded to a superior suite!

We also stayed in the Protea which was perfectly fine, I've heard good things about Chapter House but never stayed there personally

Smart man. Beautiful town, we’d back in May for another visit. We’ve eaten and drank pretty much everywhere if you’re looking for recommendations. We’ve fallen in love with that little town, assuming no particularly massive political or social or changes we’ll be retiring there

Haute Cabriere
