Kenya/Tanzania Visa?

Hi my wife’s family are going on safari entering Kenya travelling to Tanzania then back to Kenya.
Couple of questions what’s the official sites for applying for Evisas and do they need a multiple entry visa for Kenya as leaving the country for Tanzania for a few days then returning to Kenya.
I am trying to help them avoid the agency sharks.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Multi-entry for Kenya would be required and you can apply via the link on the Kenya High Commission site ( https://www.kenyahighcom.org.uk/multiple-entry-vis...). I wouldn't trust any other sources for the visa - best to go via the embassy/HC link.

Unfortunately Tz isn't part of the East Africa Visa program that Kenya has set up, so two visas would be required.

Thank you for your reply, I have told her this already but I wanted confirmation as never done Kenya etc myself. So she needs multiple entry for Kenya instead of 2 single entries which works out the same cost $101 vs $51 x 2.

You wouldn't be able to apply for 2x single entry visas at the same time anyway (or at least that used to be the case); multi-entry is the way to go.

ETA yeah that evisa link is the correct one to use.

Bit of an update if anyone is thinking of going to Kenya / Tanzania.
Apparently you only need a single entry visa if you are flying to Kenya then leaving to Tanzania/Uganda for say a safari then going back in to Kenya but obviously you will need separate visas for other 2 countries.
Multi entry visa is only for those who visit Kenya regularly.
