I have to take my wife to Heathrow in May and then pick her up again a couple of weeks later. Can someone please clarify the ULEZ charge for me, because I have read some conflicting information. Will it cost £15, £17.50 or do you pay £12.50 arriving and £12.50 leaving the airport (not of course including the astronomic parking charges)?
Is it also permitted to burn an effigy of Khan on leaving the place?
Cheers.

no you are fine. Won't be there until August this year.

You will need to pay £5 drop off charge when using drop off. You can use heathrows website to do this.

Cheers Craig, I will have to park the car anyway, but that is one less thing to worry about.

Can't answer the charge question, but the answer to this is not only is it permitted, it is expected wink

It's in the expanded zone that is due to come into effect in August (court appeals pending)

Another reason not to use that Godforsaken hole called Heathrow.

Which godforsaken hole would you recommend?

None are good but Stansted is better than most.
