Weekend near Girona / Calella de Palafrugell - No kids!

Cheap flights that meet our time constraints mean a visit to Girona.

Not an area i'm at all familiar with and a bit of googling suggests a nice spot would be calella de palafrugell or Llafranc - that sort of neck of the woods.


Looking for a nice hotel for me & the wife - first overseas trip without kids for several years.

Nice hotel
Small village type vibe rather than raucous clubs
Nice beach.

Any suggestions for that area or similar?
