Rock am Ring by motorcycle

Hi all.

Pretty keen to take my daughter to the Nurburgring for the Rock Am Ring festival in June this year.

Used to live music, and have driven the Ring in my car before, but never been for this event and never by motorcycle.

Bike is a Z1000SX so reasonably fine for the distance, but little idea on parking, hotels/camping etc.

If its gonna be a huge pain with the bike, I'll use my girlfriends car since I'm carless at the moment, but I'd rather not as its a rather uninspiring Qashqai.

Anyone been or have any advice about either the festival or the trip?

I can't help as I've never been before, but seeing the thread title made me check it out as I've always wanted to go. The line-up looks bloody immense, I'm very envious that you're going this year!! Enjoy.

Yeah it does look a great line up for sure. Likely gonna cost about £1k mind! Only started considering it bacuse download is sold out.
