Abu Dhabi during Ramadan

Thanks.
Golf course and hotel are the same place.
No eating and drinking in public also include restaurants, or do they operate as normal?
Check with your hotel. It may be only one restaurant is open during the day, perhaps limited hours also. It'll be screened off so no one outside can see in. Altogether a less than ideal experience however it's respectful. Golf course and hotel are the same place.

My experience is with Dubai and Oman during Ramadan, but Abu Dhabi will probably be similar. Most restaurants at hotels and malls have black curtains up so you can eat and drink between sunrise and sunset. If you wanted to have a drink while at the pool, you were asked to go into the gym to do so. Not sure how this works on a golf course though.
