West London Parking - Outside ULEZ and close to tube please?
Discussion
In a few weeks time I'm going to be in Esher (with my car) and then heading into town for the afternoon evening. Previously, I've just driven up the A3, across the river at Putney and parked around Kensington high street, but Sadiq doesn't want my car there now!
I need somewhere to park until probably 10pm, outside of ULEZ and giving me an easy access out to the M40. I'm thinking Hounslow West is probably my best bet, but wondered if anyone had any better suggestions?
Actually, is there still a big market/car boot there at the weekends taking up half the car park?

Sounds like there still is a market / boot sale at Hounslow West - https://bray-markets.com/bray-markets-hounslow-wes...
West Ruislip might not be a bad bet if you want close to the M40? Or further in, Perivale? Not sure on parking there though.

If you are coming to Esher, make it a little further into Teddington and there are plenty of roads with free parking within 10 mins walk of the station.
Straight to Waterloo in both directions, Richmond is 10 mins away for tube and Overground.
Careful at the weekend though as quite often the local track is closed due to engineering but then there's lots of buses to Richmond, about 20 mins.

As it's a one off? Just drive n park where you usually do,pay the ulez, least you know cars in safe place, failing that opposite Ruislip station the closed golf course car park is used by hs2 workers,no controlled access or checks last time I was there
Yes indeed. What's the difference in cost between ULEZ vs no ULEZ + additional train fare?xx99xx said:

I can't answer that at the moment, but it can't be £12.50 surely?Apparently the market is still on at Hounslow West so the car park is closed at the weekends. I don't really want to be driving out of central London at 10pm on a Saturday when I've had a 6am start if I can avoid it, the quicker I can get on the M40 and set the cruise control the better.
I then thought it would be a good time to have a go on the elizabeth line as I haven't done that yet... No parking at West Drayton, about 3 spaces at Iver and then I'm out at Langley FFS.
Well done Khan, you've made popping into town for a meal an utter ballache. tt.
