Was due to fly to Tenerife yesterday, but had a tooth abcess develope last weekend, requiring emergency treatment on Tuesday. The dentist advised cancelling holiday.
I have travel insurance with a company whose name is similar to a senior navy officer.
Looking at reviews (too late now!), it seems they are difficult to deal with, and many others seem the same.
Take premiums and try to wriggle out etc.
Deep down, I know I'm going to struggle with them, so does anyone have experience of decent Insurance companies that are easy to contact and pay out when necessary please.

Thank you for replying. I have read reviews of all 3 companies.
All state how good they are, relating to how easy it is to get cover, as I did with mine.
But can't really find how good they are when trying to make a claim.
They are seem about as useful as third party car warranties.
