Good Evening all,

Can anyone recommend a child friendly hotel ( all inclusive ) somewhere warm for October.

Everywhere i have found in my preferred locations ( Greece ) seems to be relatively open coastline and i would like somewhere a little more sheltered so my son can enjoy the sea if its warm enough, he will only be 3.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I am open to anywhere warm in October that is a 3 or 4 hour flight ( think that may limit options a bit)

Noah's Ark in the north part of Cyprus may well fit your requirements.

They have a very nice beach with hard perimmiters either side and the beach itself is lovely. The resort is lovely too. It's an all-inclusive but not one of these 'town by the sea' type things.

Flight is around four hours. Either direct to Larnaca in the south with a 1.5 hour transfer or to Ercan in the north with a change in Istanbul - but a 30 minute transfer and no need to cross the green line.

October should be fine for a swim.

If you want to look through a stranger's holiday video - here's what I made on our visit there in 2018: https://vimeo.com/293851644

Thank you I will certainly let take a look. I’m a big fan of protaras in the south, never done the Turkish side.

I'm a fan of both. The north is a little more ragged round the edges but overall a bit more 'traditional' and dare I say it; authentic. Walking through the Green Line in Nicosia is like walking back in time. On the south you have all your western brands and shops to a level that makes it little different to any UK high street. A few meters later and you're in a completely different place; old souk, no western brands (not that are genuine anyway), lovely coffee shops and interesting, cool bars. Also, the north is anything up to 30% cheaper than the south!

We've been here a couple of times and really enjoyed it.

There were plenty of young kids around when we last stayed in October half term 2022.

Private beach 30 seconds from hotel, swim up rooms, food and staff excellent, entertainment child friendly, kids club and a nice walk into Calis where you can catch a passenger ferry to Fethiye.

Sea is generally calm but it can get windy like anywhere in the med.
