Dear petrolheads, I’m looking for any useful resources like maps or routes for a 10 day road trip exploring the alpine passes and scenery. I’m starting from Munich at the end of May. Ideally looking for a circular route.
Cheers.

There are loads of resources available via search. BestBikingRoads for one. And search threads on here - there are many.

Here's an 1,800 kms route I did in 4 days. With 10 days I'd extend further east into the Austrian Alps and west into Switzerland.

Note that Grossglockner (between waypoints 7 and 8) is currently closed therefore the mapping software as shown in the capture does not route between these waypoints, but in May it would show on the map.

I enjoyed the section between Bolzano and Innsbruck most of all (waypoints 28-37), including a memorable stint being chased by a German E92 M3 the entire length of Timmelsjoch with me ahead in my (rented) Golf 7.5R.

Can't go far wrong with the Andermatt Loop in Switzerland for starters. From here you can move onto the Dolomites where there are numerous passes, and north into Austria via Grossglockner. Swiss and Austria m'ways require a vignette pass, and some cities in various countries need an emissions zone pass.
French Alps are well worth visiting too, the routes des grandes alpes being one well known route that goes from north to south.
Google any of the above.

Mayby you want to change your date. End of May is a "very" good chance, that one or the other pass is normaly still closed.

Agreed, end of June is safer.

We always aim for September to avoid snow closures. Of late my route planning has included looking at cycle races, they follow some really glorious routes which are always passable for their support teams. So no goat tracks!

We've done the trip many times, on bikes though. Buy this book, worth every penny:
