We're heading off to Tuscany for our summer holiday and will spend a four days in Florence. We've booked a hotel with parking but you cant reserve it, first come first served. I've looking into parking in Florence and it seems to be all independent small places . Some of them only keep the cars here for short terms, longer term parking some park them off site. Lots of reviews of damaged wheels, parking dings etc so its not filling me with confidence.

One place I found that looks ok and has good reviews is here... https://goo.gl/maps/GsvmZtYoXaHoBpDD9

Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations?

You will have "fun" in Florence and elsewhere in Italy coping with/avoiding all the ZTLs and the significant accompanying fines.

I'm no too worried about that, I'm lucky enough to live near the italian border am used to avoiding them! I can also get to the hotel and the parking place I linked to register the reg plate so not to get a fine. My main concern is taking a nice car to a crap parking location.

I read some other threads which came up from searching but although some suggestions were given there wasnt any feedback on the one the poster chose.
