Birthday long weekend in June

Hi All

I'm looking to take my wife away for a milestone birthday over the end of May, first week in June, staying away for 4 nights. Also taking our 9-year-old son.

Flying from Manchester or Liverpool, shortlist is currently:

Bruges - no direct flights so would have to fly to Brussels then get the train. Not a massive issue, and I believe it's a lovely place. I'm also a huge fan of In Bruges so we can visit some of the film locations

Vienna - no direct flights

Rome - expensive flights

Venice - expensive flights

San Sebastián- never been but believe it's nice. I heard on another thread there's a nice hotel that picks you up from Bilbao airport. Bonus.

Copenhagen

Stockholm

Berlin

We're pretty chilled, my son likes cold places rather than hot places, museums, and places that aren't too crowded! Wife also pretty relaxed. Food will play a major part of the trip!

Am I missing any obvious destinations? Or any tips on the above?

We did 4 nights in Lisbon last September, flew easyjet Manchester to Lisboa, tube train to centre only cost about 1€20 then almost everything walkable, Airbnb in centre, public transport cheap, lots to see, recommended.
