Canaries - August 2023 - How Hot?

Ok stuck between a rock and a hard place!

We usually go away each year to Majorca for 3 weeks in August.
Accommodation prices in Majorca is making me think Tenerife instead for 2023.
Unfortunately SWMBO is a sun worshipper and is wanting mid 30s for her summer holiday.
So simple question - is the temperature in South Tenerife mainly mid 30s in August?
All online weather info is saying no!
