Hi All,

We are off to St Lucia soon. I can’t find any recent details on the prevalence of Zika Virus. Is there anyway to? It has it effectively disappeared?

Thanks

IIRC, it was / is only of concern to pregnant women.

If were an issue, the Tour Operator would have mentioned it. So go, enjoy! Check out the wooden shack bar at Rodney Bay ;-)

No public health warnings as yet (but i'm a little further south)

its the same mosquito species that spreads dengue and chikungunya and no outbreaks of either at time of wriing this. St Lucia is classed as moderate risk simply because the species is present, as is the case with several of the other islands.
