Hi guys

Will be taking the car with family for some top down motoring. Only thing we are unclear on is whether to stay in the city center Paris where we want to take in all the attractions and food etc with the kids.

Eurodisney will probably be a 2 day thing, so happy to drive out there from the hotel/Airbnb.

Any recommendations? I'll be taking the F83 M4 and it's no longer lowered so on standard suspension.

Thinking of the NCP type car parks and bottoming out. Otherwise I'll park up in a decent carpark if anyone can recommend a hotel alongside it.

Total duration for trip will probably be 5 days.

Thanks again

EDIT: We had booked Disney and Paris for Xmas 2021, but Macron stopped all British travellers due to Omicron. But this time round we ain't staying on Disney parks

We stayed at an Air BnB apartment outside Disney near the Val d’Europe shopping centre. Easy 20 min walk into Disney and close to the train station into Paris city centre. Apartment had underground parking which was handy.

When we did singing similar. However, we booked an accommodation and ticket deal and stayed in the davey crocket ranch for 3 nights with 2 days park access. Then seperatly went and stayed in paris in an ibis right on the edge of the congestion area (on way side) which was near a metro line and had free parking.

Worked well for us. Advantage with the package was parking was included (did have to drive from ranch to park) , with early access, and also the fast pass scheme. Depending on budgets then there are the onsite hotels too but the ranch was more then reasonable imo.

Are you hooked on staying off site?

If you stay in Disney accommodation, tickets are bundled in the price, but if you use off site accommodation, you have to price up the ticket and the relevant passes for the day separately and it not cost effective in the slightest.

We stay at the Center Parcs there as very close by and brilliant facilities. Also, book via Disney you get in the parks earlier.

We also go 12m of Disney plus so binned off our subscription saving £100.

Similar for me, possibly the same place as it was pretty much opposite the shopping centre, and a 20 min walk to Disney. Worth noting that a lot of people seemed to jump on the buses without paying. Some of the hotels in the town also ran courtesy buses.
