Milan - Monza

Got a few days booked in Milan for the end of February so looking for some recommendations on what to do.

Interested in possibly taking a trip to Monza, but not sure if it is worth it, or much to see when there is no racing on.

Any tips appreciated.

I dropped in to Monza during a Euro trip last year, midweek, nothing official going on. There wasn't a lot open, few food stalls etc, and whilst there was "something" rattling around the track, we couldn't find anywhere that we could actually see, it was all fenced off and/or locked.

It may be that there are other vantage points or more interest elsewhere around the circuit but not sure.

That was my concern that it would be a wasted trip.

Given we have never been to Milan I feel our time would be better spent in the city itself.
