Has anyone had any experience with using an e sim for data when travelling abroad.

Am going to India and o2 are charging £7.20 per mb of data which i think is daylight robbery.

I've found two firms Nomad and Airalo that both seem to offer 5gb of data for £10.

Has anyone used them or anyone else? do they work?

Just setup an Airalo esim but yet to use it after seeing recommendations on here. Was simple enough to setup.

Using an Airalo one right now. All very easy if you’ve got a phone that supports dual sim - still get calls/texts on normal UK number but switch off data roaming and use the Airalo esim for data only.

They do Europe and India as I believe they are an Indian company. Its a great deal. If you go onto the Hot Deals website, you will see they often have great deals too. I currently have a sim on a rolling 30 day, 10Gb data and I'm paying £1.69 a month for 6 months.
