Heading out to Dubai over xmas for a few days and wanted to know if anyone has any tips on what to do/where to go for a car mad 3 and 7 year old.

I looked into Ferrari world but the tickets are about £200 for the 4 us, plus its it’s an hour and a half from our hotel so probably looking at a £300-400 day including taxi’s, tickets, food etc.

Anyone have any suggestions on things to do in Dubai, any car museums or car related theme parks etc that are worth a visit?

The best free thing to do is go and look around the showrooms at Al Aweer Auto Market. See Google maps.

First of all Dollar are renting Dodge Chargers for cheap.. £665 for 6 days when I just checked, I told my lad to stand by the Ford Fiesta when we got tot he hire car venue.. he was super excited when I popped the boot of the Charger.. All the car dealers that we went to and I was dragged around loads of them where very accommodating, quite a few had the keys in the cars and my lad(14years) was told to get in and start them up.. he was in heaven.. Bugatti wouldn't let him even sit in the Chiron though.. boooooo..... even walking around the vast amounts of carparks, you get to see some nice cars.

Thanks for responses soo far, the the classics place looks good, do they mind if you run up and look around?

Not planning on hiring a car, just don't think it would get the use so going to stick with public transport

Where about are you staying?? just up the road from The Mall of Emirates is Lamborghini and Ferrari, plus a load of exotic car dealers, we also went to Nova Luxury Cars, they had a Chiron and a Veyron parked next to each other. I think a lot of the dealerships are on the main road though the city so the tram could be of use.

They've moved it to an app so it's a bit more tricky (used to be a book of paper vouchers), but you can get access to The Entertainer via sellers on eBay which will give you much discounted tickets to Ferrari world.

Just pop by somewhere like https://www.alainclass.com/ which is on Sheik Zayed Road in central Dubai and they will be happy to have you walk in and have a look around. If you are super polite, they will even let you sit in the odd car. There are loads of similar dealerships on that road.

As mentioned, Al Aweer Auto Market is crazy, but it's a bit further out of town.

There is a good museum but it's the other side of Abu Dhabi, so not worth the journey and not "supercars" http://www.enam.ae/

Bay Square near the canal, so about a mile from the mall
