If you hire a car, never leave anything in it. They seem to have gangs who capture key frequencies, nick stuff, relock, you drive off, none the wiser.
Teide National Park is essential visiting but they operate up there too.
Won’t be driving it’s all inclusive and my plan is to spend all week sat by the pool with my Kindle.Teide National Park is essential visiting but they operate up there too.
Fortunately you're not there during the World Cup.

As an England football fan with a load of Welsh mates (I went to the pub to watch Wales v Iran with them on Thursday, they wouldn't let me buy a beer all night) I just find this all rather depressing.

To be fair that little strip at Veronicas always gets a bit lively at kicking out time (and reminds me why I don't stay in PDLA when we go to Tenerife!)https://twitter.com/Hauvetime/status/1596270948864...

Looking to book the Riu Vistamar for a week in February. Been there a few times in the past. Was wondering if anybody has been there since the refurbishment.

We have booked the Buenavista in Jan that’s also had a recent refurb.https://www.riu.com/es/hotel/espana/gran-canaria/c...
Have visited the Riu Paraisio in Lanzarote about 10 times and they have made a superb job of it even changed the shape of the pools !
Would have though all the hotels would have been done to the same template / standard.

Going to Gran Canaria mid-Feb and have never been before. Is it worth hiring a car?
Yes, the interior has stunning views. The only downside is that the roads twist and turn so much that even after an hour, you're not far inland 😂The zoo is nice, if expensive, with free flight birds.
Harder to 0ark in some areas though but someone told me you can park up, get the ticket and then pay off the ticket in the parking machines for a far lesser amount. Didn't try it though.
We're looking to book a last minute week away in the next few days.
Is Lanzarote noticeably colder being a bit further North than the other islands? Or is there nothing in it.
I've stayed in the North of Tenerife in Feb and it was a good 10 degrees colder than the southern resorts although I imagine a lot of that is due to geography/topology.
