Silly idea (weather-wise), or good way to make it semi-affordable?

Would be taking the (young-ish) kids, so any recommendations as to which location to keep them entertained / minimise walking (figuring we'd end up spending a chunk of time on the beach):-
- Holetown
- Paynes Beach area
- Rockley Beach area
- Further round towards Oistins

Haven't been for about 11 years...has it changed much?

It’s gotten a lot more expensive thanks to the $ rate. Worth factoring in.

Can’t really go wrong with any of those locations really. Can always rent a car, they’re not too expensive and as you’ll probably know it’s very easy driving on the island, just got to watch out for the potholes that could swallow a bus.

My wife went with a friend recently and they split their time between the south and the west coasts. Seems like a good idea to me.

I went for a couple of weeks in May this year and the weather was ok, we had a few afternoon showers but they don't last long and it's warm anyway. We had more rain when we went last October

Great weather as the rainy season will not really begin until early July. You should be ahead of the humidity too.
