Avios Redemption Help

I am trying to redeem some avios and use a companion voucher for 3 flights. My avios balance is 22,875 my household balance is 22,965 and I notice my wife has a grand total of 90 avios.

The 3 flights (me, wife and child) are 40,950 avios + £4 however it will not let me select this as an option but I can select 22,050 avios plus £109.

I don't quite understand the household account and why I cannot use the 22,875 + the 22,965 in avios.

Any help appreciated.

The household balance is yours plus you wife's.
