Good Morning, I visited snowdonia in 2013 and want to revisit a walk we did

In my mind it is somewhere east of snowdon. Looking at an os maps I suspect the river in the photo is Conwy, looking out towards Colwyn Bay... But it was 10 years ago so I might remember wrong.

The car park is reasonably high, so an easy walk around the peak with stunning views in every direction. There is a small lake at the start or the walk I believe it would be "left" of the car park.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks goodness for the gps tags we have now.

I would agree. We stayed in a campsite at Llanrwst last month and that was the view we saw driving to Llandudno Junction.

Photos taken in 2013 on a basic kodak camera, used to take photos of signs post so I could identify in the future, but failed this time.

Looks like it but I can't find a suitable peak or lake on the area to match

I would say it's this. Sounded like it before I saw the pics.

Shows how good my memory was though, completely the other side of snowdonia and the wrong estuary. Nice drive over that way though, so win win.

We're staying in the area at the moment so will probably be doing the Precipice at some point.

There is a good walk behind the house we stay in that takes you up along the Arthog falls then over farmland to the Cregennan Lakes which is a stunning place, scenery is amazing.
