We ae off to normandy for 7 days in a couple of weeks with the toddler.

A day trip to Paris is on the cards by train (2.5 hours), we went as a couple in April but will have toddler with us.

I'm thinking about going a slightly less cheaper place in normandy for the week to stay in Paris overnight and get more time and reduce the issues with toddler sleep etc.

Q - Am I mad throwing money down the drain here by paying for someone else for a night elsewhere?

This all could be done last minute tbh.

Why are you taking a toddler to Paris anyway? They won't remember it.

Seems like a lot of hassle and expense you don't need.

+2 plus the 2.5hr train trip there and back won’t be fun as a toddler. With so much to do on your doorstep seems a waste of 5+ hours of travelling.

Errrr its for me and his mum lol.

It's an idea for something different.

Looked at Disneyland and they want 500 quid for hotel/tickets so that's out.

You went in April?

Do you think it's going to be lovely and romantic with a fractious and tired toddler?

Either don't go or don't take the toddler.

Well I'm not looking for romantic snogs and fish fingers on the Seine matey.

Maybe a gallery or two we missed, a nice couple of pictures for the archive with us all, might go to the Military Museum we missed in April.
