What does "transfer fees not included both side" mean ?

I'm guessing you then have to pay them to take you to and from the car park - i.e. it's not £43.99.

But I can't find any company with that exact name, so I can't check.

From their website

General information

Simply Park & Ride is a ParkMark awarded outdoor Multi Storey Car Park 1 Mile away from the airport and Trading Standards Approved.
When parking with Simply Park & Ride, you can drive to the parking location indicated in the confirmation mail and park your car. Once at the location, you can check-in and hop on the shuttle bus towards Manchester Airport.
Simply Park & Ride will keep your car keys safe while you are on your trip.

Please note: Simply Park & Ride charges a discounted airport entrance fee (normally £12,- with Simply Park & Ride £10,-) you can pay this fee on arrival at reception.

SO LOOKS LIKE AN ADDITIONAL £10.00

My issue would be if it is a multi storey, why do they need to keep your keys?

I always prefer to keep my keys or if I do decide to leave them use the official Manchester Airport service -

In a lot of cases, there is a reason something is the cheapest……..

This, there have been several local press articles recently about parking firms dumping cars on the streets of Wythenshawe.

I'd go with Jetparks if you're looking to save money - go to the official Manchester Airport and use discount code HELLO-MAN at checkout for 10% off.

I've tried the others and there's some shonky operations out there, best to use the official companies so you have some accountability if things go wrong.
Drop and Go is very good, but the price has shot up lately.

Yeah, also heard about cars being parked up on the side of the roads.
I guess Jetparks is the way to go.
Little more expensive.
But no IN and OUT charges at the airport which is £6.00 in, and £6.00 out. so that adds £12.00 to most others.
Also as mentioned, you get to keep your keys.

I need look a bit more.

I have used Drop & Go at Manchester Airport a few times including this year, booked through Holiday Extras website. Reasonable price and is an official car park based at the airport terminal 3 (Ryanair etc), few minutes walk to other terminals. Relatively hi-tech, leave your keys in a lock box and the scan another box when you get back for your keys and your car is waiting for you in the car park.

Recommended and better than leaving it with some bloke to use as an Uber while you are away....

PS Park & Ride is never worth using to save a few bob, especially if you are arriving back late evening as the chances of a Ride arriving quickly is very low...

PPS just had a quick look at the prices, I tend to book months in advance so have seen it is a lot dearer at short notice and Drop & Go is not available....

I would, it's always been good for me.
The only annoying part is waiting for a transfer, but I think the longest I've waited is 20 mins or so.

Since launch, Drop and Go has been incredibly busy - it's my first choice (unless Jetparks is a lot cheaper) but I found I couldn't book it with a few week's notice.
I gave them a call and they do sell out a couple of months ahead according to the lady on the phone.

I’ve normally parked in the long stay car park multi storey adjacent to the terminal. A little bit more but I just prefer it. Recently it has become increasingly more difficult to actually book to park there, despite the car park being enormous! Tried to book back in May and struggled, and trying to book now for December and again struggling, as it doesn’t appear as an option on the official website car parking and I can’t understand why…? Maybe something to do with the redevelopment works at the airport that they don’t want to commit too far in advance?

I’ve used T2 west multi-storey twice this year, yes it’s a little more expensive but it’s pretty seamless and very stress free.

Even T2 west multi storey isn’t showing up on the dates I want to book. I get drop and go, jet parks 3 and meet and greet, no multi storeys….

Just worked out why, changed booking to 4 days rather than 18 and get every option for parking, so it’s based around length of stay.

Thanks for that, sounds the same as meet and greet? How is it different? My car is a Tesla model 3 which operates on my phone, or with a card so they’ll have to know how to work it with that, at least it has valet mode!

I'm sure they see plenty of Teslas.

I've always used the actual Manchester Airport "proper" Meet and Greet; it's often no more expensive than other options and a lot less hassle than the rattly old shuttle buses and I don't want the risk of actual public people with big cases etc who can't park or open doors properly dinging mine.

I say "used" as parking is now so astronomically expensive that it's cheaper to get a taxi to and from the airport for anything longer than a week.

It's a similar idea, yes - you leave your keys with them in a drop off box, and you collect them with a barcode when you return.
They'll be familiar I'm sure (lots of Teslas being dropped off when I last went).
