My wife and I got married 10 years in Tuscany. Decided to celebrate our anniversary by driving down to the villa we got married in Villa Cicolina in Montepulciano.
First leg of trip was via Route Napoleon down to Nice. A truly epic road.
Staying in Beautiful hotel Boscolo who have parked my car on their forecourt. In Nice for two days then on to Tuscany

We did Route Napoleon back in 2018 as part of a European tour (8 countries, 3,000 miles). Ended up in Mougins just outside of Grasse for 5 nights before travelling back through Italy, Switzerland then into Alsace, France for another 5 nights. We did stop in Gap for 2 nights on RN but wasn’t impressed there - not what we expected. Route Napoleon was fantastic though.

We had lunch in Castellane. Really picturesque village recommended by Harry Metcalfe on one of his many tours. Really nice place to stop and loads of parking. We retraced our steps North from Gap and had a fabulous lunch at a lovely little restaurant in the village of Corps - called La Petite Poste.
It was a Sunday and as we were coming back down the hill into Gap, there was a French Porsche Club drive coming the opposite way. Lots of flashing lights & waving, we nearly turned around and joined them!
