T5 parking - How much !

Before covid I was a pretty regular business traveler through Heathrow and probably didn't pay much attention to cost of parking as I could just expense it. Or it is so long ago I have just forgotten. But just looked at T5 quotes for 10 days parking in September for hols to France. £190 long stay for the official Heathrow site. The likes of Purple parking coming out even more. Taxi / rail not an option for us logistically. Ouch. Parking costing more than the flights !

Any sensible alternatives that folks have used. Looked at airport hotels but that doesn't look any better and then you have the faff of waiting for transfers and we are back around midnight followed by a 3 hour drive so would just like to get in the car and go.

Yes the prices for parking went up post covid lock down ending.

Gone were the days were you could rock up to Pod Parking and pay £27/day. Think it's £39 now unless on offer and that's rare.

Is it cheaper from where you live to get taxi x2 to drop off/collect you from airport?

A week at Manchester was £126. Better but still a lot of money.

Wow. seems for once I've not been toooo stung. I booked two weeks in T5 M&G mid Sept a while ago, £166.

Park somewhere in Hounslow with no parking restrictions and cab/tube it to the airport.

Driving up from Wales for this trip so taxi not an option unfortunately.

Just paid £225 for long stay T5 for 18 days at end September - think it was £350 for the pods.

Manchester airport prices have also gone up.

I've just booked parking for 2 weeks at Heathrow T2 &T3 business parking, and I was expecting it to be around £250 - £300.

I was pleasantly surprised to only have been charged £139.

Perhaps that might be an option for you, as I'm sure that there is a transfer bus / train between T2/T3 & T5.

Tried the offical meet and greet, T5 was £205 for 14 days early july

A week in July at Bristol was £133 for the Long Stay and about £150 for the multi-storey.

Total rip-off.
