November: warm places to go, not long haul.

Tenerife will be your best bet - had 10 days in mid November a few years back - lovely temperatures although cooler at night.
Madeira wouldn’t be as good as further north - were there End March and was not as good as Canaries in mid March.
Not sure about Cyprus in November- think can be quite wet then.
Maybe worth a look at Cape Verde although the flight is a bit longer than Canaries - 6 hours or so.

Fuerteventura is a pretty unspoilt island that is great value and a hire car will take you to all of it's magnificent beaches - the stunning dunes and long beaches up towards Corralejo, the long beach and coves of El Cotillo, the black sand beach and caves of Ajuy, the stunning beaches at Jandia and Sotavento and the jewel at the end of a 15km unmade road at Cofete. There are countless tracks and back roads with great volcanic scenery. Weather is generally warm, I've been in October and December and had good weather. It's also great value in terms of prices, cheap flights, accommodation and good restaurants.
I suppose it depends what your priorities are. I've been to Tenerife several times and Teide national park is great but maybe not in November, due to the elevation? Far more commercial, as an island. I've been to Gran Canaria several times and it has a great interior but I find it expensive and it can be quiet in the low season. Lanzarote is OK but not for me.
I've been to Fuerteventura 16 times so it's obviously great for me and I see many people who repeatedly return there so it must have something.

Jordan is an amazing place to explore, that would be my choice, one of a few countries I'd love to revisit
I'd second this one, I've been there twice now, self-organised a road trip covering the whole country both times and a nicer place you couldn't wish to visit.Plenty to see and do and a couple of nice resorts on the dead sea for the relaxing part of your requirement!
If that type of holiday isn't your thing then I'd say Gran Canaria, specifically Puerto Rico. I lived there a while back and actually moved over in the November, the weather is lovely and warm all winter and there are far fewer drunken British morons at that time of year.
Tunisia could also be a shout, before I moved to Dubai my Dad and Stepmum used to spend 3 months there every winter as the weather was so much nicer than here.
I’d expect Cyprus to be wet at least 2 days a week in November. And when it rains here, it really rains. It is still warm though and you can have an hour of torrential rain that would flood England for the next month, but it will be gone an hour later. The problem is that some days it can rain all day long. That’s when it gets annoying.
I like to post this to remind people that it’s not 24/7/365 sunshine here. Taken earlier this year, albeit at the top of the Troodos mountains.

Tenerife also not immune. This was February 2016 - https://www.webtenerife.co.uk/blog/2016/02/snow-wh...
Cape Verde
I think November is their best month, I can describe the weather as the perfect bristish summers day, 25 degrees, nice breeze, sun isn’t harsh like in the canaries, better beaches too.
6 hour flight, not a great deal to see but lots of water sports or quad biking to do
I stayed in both the tui blue for 2 Cabo Verde and the Robinsons club, there’s a Hilton there too, although that’s b&b
