Car charging in Germany

Heading to Hanover this week for a week in my plug in hybrid.

Wondered what the charging options are like over there. Any useful apps to have before travel or are they PAYG?

How many EV miles can you achieve on a change?

If relatively low and unless it's free charging then I personally wouldn't bother.

Not many but we have quite a bit of local running around to do. If there is a chance to charge it I will, but not going to waste too much time.
