Salzburg or similar - walking / adventure holiday

We fancy a slightly different lads holiday next year, somewhere we can still have some beers on an evening and some atmosphere but also where we can go on mountain walks - ideally one with an overnight camp or stay in a mountain hut, with fantastic scenery etc.

I went to Grindelwald Switzerland a couple of years ago and that would have fit the bill perfectly. There was a mountain where you could do zip lines, ride trikes down the entire mountain, stop at bars etc. You could get a train up to a glacier and stay at a mountain hut up there. It would be ideal but I would much rather go somewhere new.

It doesn’t have to be Salzburg, anywhere in Europe would be fine but needs to be relatively close to an airport so that we can get in and out quickly on this short trip.

I was going to say grindelwald area as I’ve been exploring as much as I can of it recently.

Maybe lake Garda? I’m thinking malescine on the eastern side with the cable cars up to monte baldo with hiking beyond. Spoiled for nightlife options and easy in/out to Verona

Go back to Grindelwald, enjoy the zip lines and mountain carts, then take a one way ticket up the Jungfrau - join one of the touring groups and hike along the Aletsch spending a night in the Konkordiahutte - you can thank me later!

Alternatively Zermatt is awesome and can do an easy 4000m peak (Breithorn) plus some other fun stuff
