Wrexham, North Wales to Pembrey, South Wales

I’m taking the wife away to a log cabin tomorrow for the weekend. Leaving Wrexham about 8:30am

Thought of stopping for breakfast 10 -10:30 somewhere nice. It’s not the best journey A5 with many roundabouts.

Can anyone recommend anywhere nice to stop?
