Heathrow T2 Parking
Discussion
Does anyone have any recommendations? Can't recall the last time I used T2.
My previous lazy search options (e.g. Purple Parking) are throwing up prices of £270 for 10days' parking. Digging a bit deeper is throwing up similar "meet and greet" options for around £100 (e.g. Parking Hub).
Before I go for the latter (it's for the family wagon, so the chances of any Bueller antics are limited!), does anyone have any specific "go to" or "don't go to" places they use?

Thanks.
Have kids and wife and luggage etc in tow, so have used the official parking site.
Now contemplating Canada's recent change to random PCR testing for flights into Toronto, and 10 day isolation if positive. The dumbness of what they're doing beat anything our govt did! (Random testing, allowed to travel internally where and how you want until you get the test results up to 4 days later, then have to self-isolate if positive, after spreading it for up to 4 days....)

One would be tempted to think that they don’t want people to go there………..Have kids and wife and luggage etc in tow, so have used the official parking site.

When we went last year they had “random” testing. What that actually looked like was everyone with a British passport off our flight getting tested. We were free to do as we wished whilst awaiting the results so like you say a colossal waste of time but in fairness to them we had the results emailed to us in under 24 hours, think it might have been around 18 hours if memory serves.Have kids and wife and luggage etc in tow, so have used the official parking site.

I can’t see that nonsense lasting very long. Expensive and pointless.
Ok so I’ve just read up on the new requirements. All testing is going to happen off site, some by virtual appointment apparently. That’s less annoying than having to queue up at the airport for someone to scramble your brains with a cotton bud but still not ideal.
Doesn’t sound like they’re going to bin off the testing anytime soon so I was very wrong about that. I’m not entirely sure what they’re trying to achieve, their own logic falls at the first hurdle but hey ho.

They are also only doing it at 4 airports. Nothing via land and sea.
Totally bizarre thinking.

Heathrow official long stay terminal 2/3. Always seems reasonable enough.
The quote for 2 weeks in early August is £222I contacted our local taxi firm, and their drop-off and pick-up quote is £118 all-in (including the £5 drop off fee)
However, I have a feeling something is going to go wonky on this trip with times and dates, so having a bit more flexibility, and the comfort of our own car, should be worth the premium (if there is one).

I paid about £70 for a week, booked a long while ago. I also live in the West Country, bit more than £118 for a taxi. I contacted our local taxi firm, and their drop-off and pick-up quote is £118 all-in (including the £5 drop off fee)
