Is anyone traveling to (and from) Poland?

I've just had my outbound flight cancelled (coincidentally just as I was searching for an alternate flight from Poznan after that was cancelled).

Trip planned for towards end of August. Carrier: Wizz Air from Luton. Preferred airport would be Luton or Stanstead; would love to fly from LCY but it's getting the right flight to the right airport (has to be Poznan or Wrocław).

Anyone having any trouble, or have I lucked out on a duff booking?

Don’t Wizz Air have a history of cancelling flights at short notice? I think it likely to do with cheap seats and capacity. If there’s not enough seats sold easier to just cancel it and save money.

I use Ryan Air for Poland. I’d rather not given their add on pricing bks but surprisingly they seem most reliable and good value. A return for £25 a few months back is rather enticing and I thought of going again just for the fun of it cheaper than a weekend in UK.

I've done Poland a number of times pre-covid and always ended up on Ryanair. No problems, good prices, always seem more efficient than Easyjet.

Wizz Air canceled my inbound flight even though we're about a month away from the event. Outbound was still okay however, when I requested a refund for the canceled flight, Wizz wiped both.

They do have a policy of refunding 120% in these circumstances.

All booked with Ryan now.
