Stepson off to Greece with his grandparents question.
Discussion
Ok bit long winded but bear with.
My 7 year old stepson is off to Greece in August with his maternal grandad, granddads wife and her son his wife and their children.
Stepson has his paternal surname which obviously differs to the rest of the group.
Obviously passports etc up to date but is there any possibility of any delay or worse through customs etc (annoying but understandable for childrens safety’s sake) and if so what’s the usual way of dealing with such an eventuality?
Thanks in advance and yes I am jealous of the lucky little sod!

My children had duel nationality, and didn't use a British Passport, if i travelled with them alone it was always questioned, France was the worst took the kids to a room on their own. Just treat it that bad things happen and they are trying to stop them. They were always polite, and do an important job, explain why their Mother isn't there, its no big issue, but allow time.
