Hello guys and girls - any tips or tricks for booking a Greek ferry. I have been on Ferryscanner and selected our dates and times, it's coming out at EUR 460 for 3 adults and two children (inc. discounts).

Do the prices vary like airfares or is it best to nip this in the bud and book the prices as they are now? EUR 49 one way per adult. We are going in high season, mid-August.

Love to hear any feedback or advice - cheers all.

5 ferry companies on your route: Seajets, Minoan Lines, Fast Ferries, Golden Star Ferries, and Blue Star Ferries

Try their individual websites and see if you get a better price on any of them. No reason not to mix and match if 2 singles on different companies works out cheaper. What you saw does seem a bit steep.
