Barmouth is nice, have a walk across the iconic railway bridge.
Portmeirion
Abersoch
Ffestiniog railway at Porthmadoc
Loads to do around that area, especially in good weather.

Portmeirion doesn't allow dogs
Abersoch is on the list
Railway is a possible if they'll take the dog

I'm pretty sure they do.Thanks.
It's a great day out with some stunning scenery up to Blaenau Ffestiniog,

Porth Ysgo is a nice walk with the dog. Quite steep and rocky, but unlikely to be very many people on the beach when you get there.
Magic little spot.
Abersoch is nice but spoilt a bit by huge amounts of very conspicuous consumtion. Aberdaron is lovely, a bit of a faffy drive to get to, but lovely.
ETA: the walk around the Llanbedrog Viewpoint and the Iron Man is right next to you, and is a lovely walk.
And the prehistoric village tre'r ceiri is also a great (strenuous) walk.
Magic little spot.

So many great scenic walks on the llyn peninsula as a few have mentioned.
The walk from Plas yn Rhiw's house (national trust) above hell's mouth along the coast path to aberdaron for lunch and then back is a great one with refreshments at each end...
Also if going to Barmouth both the new precipice walk and the orginal precipice is unbeatable on a fine day and has amazing views without any strenuous climbs.
The aviation museum at caernarfon airport is worth an hour or two - they have a few cold war jets you can sit in.... I sat in the vampire and it's a reminder of fk that! If nothing else! And surrounding area is good for a walk out to fort belan etc.

If you like deserted beaches, Criccieth at low tide is lovely, Barmouth in season is busy especially if the sun shines, dog friendly though. Nothing wrong with LLandudno, although Rhos on sea or conway are a lot less busy this time of year. Rhos is being rebuilt right now so not sure what it like. Just drive over some of the roads around snowdonia for stunning scenery. Halech beach once more the 100 yards from the entrance will be deserted and dog friendly in one direction.
The slate museum in Llanberis is a good visit and a free day out, not sure if the power station is still doing visits but that is worth seeing as well.

The power station is closed to visitors now which is a shame. There's just loads to do in that part of the country - a vast choice of lovely beaches and walks, one of our favourites with the dog is to Porthdinllaen for lunch at Ty Coch on a nice day, Beddgelert is a lovely village to vist, Zip-World in Bethesda if you're feeling adventurous (not for dogs obviously ) Harlech or Caernarfon castles. Depends on how far you want to travel out out of Pwllheli really. The slate museum in Llanberis is a good visit and a free day out, not sure if the power station is still doing visits but that is worth seeing as well.
