Tell me about Zanzibar in Feb

Looking at vacations for next year, other half has found Zanzibar on her "oooo looks nice" radar

Looks quite interesting to be fair, 4.5k£ for 2 of us for 2 weeks all inclusive via TUI.

Does anyone have any recent experiences of the island they would care to share ?

Was there in February 2020. Liked the place.

Stone Town has history lots of it Great mixture of African/Arab/Indian/European culture.

Cheetah’s Rock is an experience if thats your thing.

Airport can be chaotic. Getting visa on arrival involved visiting about 5 different desks but got through quick enough. Departure was a mess!

Going at the end of September… expecting a bit of culture shift, perhaps parts of it not very developed, hotel should be good though… Will report back.
