I'm travelling to Spain next month and, mainly due to procrastination, never got round to getting a booster jab. Hence I'm out of the 270-day window that they still require.

It suggests you can travel if you have a -ve LFT (antigen test) within 48hrs. Boots do a post out test with certificate. I assume that the certificate can be saved to the NHS app in some way? Anyone gone down this route?

Alternatively we have a ton of LFTs at home - can these in some way be certificated int he NHS app?

Use your NHS LFTs and pay for a Klarity certificate only option - it’s just under £10 and job done.

Do the test, upload a pic of the result, the certificate will be in the app and your inbox normally within 25mins

Or, book a booster. As long as it is more than seven days before you travel, you're OK.

The 270 day rule applies from your last jab. There's nothing in the farce that is Covid regs, that says you can't leave more than 270 days between jabs.

I'm toying with the idea. TBH I just don't fancy being jabbed again if I can help it.

Just revisiting this -- so we can use one of our NHS lateral flow test with the £10 option?

Yes. Absolutely. I’ve used this exact route for 6 US trips since December with not a single issue or question.
