Decent Hotel in Florence with secure parking
Discussion
Off to see Andrea Bocelli in Lajatico late July and would like to stay somewhere nice in Florence, with very secure and preferably underground parking.
Any recommendations gratefully received. Or even just outside Florence in the direction of the concert - private estate type thing.
Also seeking a method to get from Florence/Hotel to concert and back - I have been once before and it is in a amphitheatre style concert bowl in the middle of the Tuscanny Countryside - Lajatico is Andrea's home village. You have to wind your way up a dusty track to get to the public parking. I have never seen a car covered in so much dust when we got back to the carpark and 100% don't want to take my own wheels there again (which if Lotus get their finger out their @rses will be my new Emira).
Cheers all,

I will be staying at La Cisterna in San Gimignano. That's in your direction and the hotel has got underground parking, of sorts.
Here are the images the hotel sent me of the garage, grabbed from Google Streetview. It's underneath a public parking lot just outside the ZTL. The building right across on the left in the first image is the local Carabinieri post, so security shouldn't be an issue.

Hotel Degli Orafi is well located and nice. Has parking. BUT parking anywhere in central Florence is tight. Another option is Hotel Londra (also has parking. Also tight. Not as nice as Degli Orafi).
Hotel Garden in Siena's nice, and Siena's lovely (prefer Florence on balance...but Siena's great).
Or Pisa? Royal Victoria was quaint when I last stayed there (a while ago).
I've never been to Lajatico, but all the above look to be about an hour or so away. So you're going to need to drive really (public transport in Italy is OK between major cities, but not beyond IMO - though an even longer time since I did that sort of thing).
If it were me, I'd look to stay somewhere much closer, and if you then want to sightsee, drive to the outskirts of Siena/Pisa/Florence and get a bus the rest of the way.

We stayed here 4 years ago and it has a secure underground car park on site. It's a 10 minute drive to central Florence car parks or if you're feeling really adventurous an hours walk along the Arno. The pool was a bonus and there are 2 or 3 half decent restaurants within walking distance to eat in the evening.

I've stayed here before on a road trip, really central and great parking within the hotel 'estate' (it has one of the largest private gardens within Florence)

If you take a look on google maps you'll see what I mean (its not underground mind you) https://goo.gl/maps/shJkXsZYWZgDThxE7
It was a bit tight to enter but I was in a Cayman GTS so image you're fine if the Emira turns up!
