Parents are off to Santorini in a few weeks for their ruby anniversary.. Sister and I would like to arrange a boat trip for them as a gift.

Google turns up a lot of results obviously but figured there would be some experienced folks on here that could maybe offer some advice / opinions.

I wish we could afford a solo / private boat but alas we don't have a grand to spend laugh so will likely be a group one, though ideally not a 50+ person 'party boat' (they're in their 60's after all).

So my searches so far, I'm seeing day trips and evening trips, the former seem to focus more on swimming spots (not really their main interest) and the latter typically focussing on the sunset.

So any advice as to where to start looking would be great, if we can get an evening-sunset trip with good food and not too crowded within a budget of a few hundred, that would be great smile

We did this one in Autumn 2019 - the boat was pretty full but we did all the sights you might want to see including a tour of the volcano and a swim into the hot springs.

Lunch was on Thirasia so you could choose which restaurant you wanted.
