I'm meant to be going Portugal in few weeks time, I had covid in December 2021 and its saying online if Ive had covid in last 12 mths I need a "covid recovery certificate" I never heard of it. Googling looks like something I have to pay for or can the NHS app be used? A recovery certificate seems odd how can they issue it just retest you to confirm you don't have it?

Thanks

Should be on your NHS app if you had a pcr test or notified the NHS

Thanks yeah I see it in the app now, I had a pcr at the time, Gov Web site says recovery cert in app only available for upto 6 mths after testing positive though but I'm reading online Portugal want it upto 12 mths, confusing.

I haven't travelled since covid started, is the NHS app enough to show I've had my jabs etc I see them in there, do you just show them the app on your phone at check-in at airport or better print off?

Cheers

Best to Screenshot it. My phone just wouldn't work, and had to go out of the building to do so. Or save it to your phone via the NHS covid pass via GPay.
