I've got a month in Rotterdam coming up with work. Been to NL umpteen times but never in the south. Any must sees / must do's to add to my list? Decent restaurants, day/weekend trips and of course PH related activities all welcome. I will probably have a car but might also rent a bike given I'll have my gear with me.

TIA

Might be worth sending a PM to Dinkel on here. He organises regular meet-ups and runs.

He knows all the good driving roads in NL and Belgium and he's quite a handy driver, even if his car's a bit slow... nuts

I’m in Rotterdam for a few days in June was hoping for a trip to Spa, would love to get a few laps in. Would also be interested in some decent roads.

Go to the Louwman Car Museum just up the road in The Hague - it's great.

Then a bit further are the best beaches - Schveningen and Noordwijk are my favourites, the latter has some great beach bars. Leiden is lovely, a sort of miniature Amsterdam without the tourists and sleaze, it has a very stylish natural history museum next to the university with a real, near-complete T-Rex skeleton if that kind of thing floats your boat (I was as excited, intimidated and impressed!). While you're there you're not far from Zandvoort...

Then south of Rotterdam is Seeland with some huge beaches, nice bars (I like Natural High on the way) and pleasant towns inland. Vlissingen is nice too.

Delft is quite nice if you like older towns and buildings. There's plenty of restaurants and Cafe's there and it's not too far from Rotterdam.

In a month you might get a glorious day to go up the Euromast. Apparently you can see Paris on a clear day! I've been a couple of times and the view, though magnificent, was haze limited to around 15 miles or so.

Dordrecht is a town I enjoy. Nothing special, just 'authentic' if you know what I mean.
