Swiss driving roads?

Any recommendations? I'll be staying in Lausanne and planning to hire a bike. Mix of solo adventuring plus pillion on the weekends.

Looking for decent day trip suggestions - routes, stops, restaurants etc.

I am aware of the strict speed and noise limits so will be on my best road behavior, but any rules/regs to be particularly aware of are welcome.
