Morning all, I’ve done a bit of Googling but the more I read the more confused I get!
Wife and I have a week in Naples / Amalfi coming up, anyone been recently to Italy who can clarify any current restrictions etc? We are both jabbed x3 and I know we need to complete the plf, anything else?
Thanks!

Nothing else.

Masks indoor and in public transport.
If you eat indoors the restaurant might ask for your green pass (NHS proof of vaccination is fine), but some don't bother anymore.

No need to test on the way out or back.

Just the EU Plf

It's all here, straightforward really:

Restrictions have been lifted generally so the EU PLF is all that's needed, plus masks.

Enjoy Naples and Amalfi areas. The latter really is spectacular and a great place to be based for days out by ferry etc. And if you visit Ravello try and get a table in Cumpa Cosimo an excellent family run restaurant. There are many other excellent restaurants in Ravello too, some with great views eg outside table at the Hotel Villa Maria.

I just went to Pompei for the first time and thoroughly recommend it, it's fascinating!
Worth getting one of the official guides by the ticketing entrance for €150.

Avoid Caserta in case you wanted to see the Reggia, it's a dump and needs a proper clean up (like they have done with Pompei)

Thanks folks, appreciated. We last visited almost three years ago for a wedding in Sorrento, but didn’t get any time to do anything else. This return visit has been on the cards for a while, but work and family, plus covid, had delayed.
