Himself has got tickets. I guess it’s something that is worth doing once in life, although I’m not a tennis fan as such!

Any suggestions on places to stay? Not fussed about being in centre of London, so somewhere on the outskirts with an easy train in would be fine, ta!

I’ve been many times. When I lived in s.e. London I wasn’t far from the tram network which went to Wimbledon and took about 30 minutes. On arrival at Wimbledon station theres a quite well organised black cab (shared fixed price) or shuttle bus queue to join. You can walk of course but never did it.

It depends what you want from your hotel if you are intending to stay a few days and want other things to do nearby. Otherwise I’d look at Travelodge type places along the Tram route. Croydon has one for example although not a great place to be, , but has a mainline station (east croydon) a few minutes walk away which is also where you can get the Tram.

A few years ago I had particularly good seats. Rafa and Novak limbering up in the semis:

Thanks…we are there for 2 nights so somewhere with decent pubs etc to wander round would be nice!

Watching this thread as I also have tickets. I've been 3 times and this time will be arriving by train into Euston.
